Sunday, February 3rd was a day of celebration in Belize. After 8 months of holding services in the open air without an official location, The Universal Church has opened its doors in Belize City.
Located in downtown Belize City, faithful members attended the inauguration where they took part of the prayers of faith and the beginning of a work that will bless thousands in the country.
Pastor Israel Maduro, currently responsible for the work in Belize shares: "The UCKG has opened its door in a country that has great potential, but unfortunately there has been difficult times. Many people in the country consider themselves Christians but we see the need in showing them how they can use their faith in Christ to breakthrough problems, improve their lives and as a consequence help the city and country to recover. That's our mission here in Belize, together with salvation and Christian values we want to teach people how to exercise their faith so they can enjoy the abundant life that Jesus promised.
On February 3rd, the first step was taken and I am sure that within time the church will grow and create a positive impact in Belize."
The church is located:
Downtown Belize City, #7 New Road
