Haiti Quake: Pastors and members unharmed

haitiearthquake

The Universal Church pastors and members in Haiti were not harmed by the earthquake that hit the country's capital, Universal.org has learned today.

Pastors Pedro and Marciano, in charge of the church work in Haiti, confirmed that all the pastors and their families are well, and so far there have been no casualties reported among the members of the church. The church building sustained very little damage.

While that is good news on the church side, the work of rescuing lives and caring for the thousands left destitute has just begun.

The pastors have been helping as many people as possible, looking for survivors and working with the authorities to provide aid to people in Port-au-Prince.

Your prayers on behalf of all the country are really needed right now.

Welcome to Universal.org
the official website of The Universal Church for North America.

We’re not quite finished yet, as you can see, but we thought we would no longer wait until we had it "perfect" before launch. After all, it is you who can help us make the site better as it evolves. Even though the Spanish and Portuguese versions of our site are now live, it's only as a beta version and we would welcome the help of translators to and from each of the three languages of the site. If you feel you can help, ¡escribanos!

It would be great if you could test out all the sections, but in particular the Bookstore, Forum, and Church Locator.

Please inform us of bugs, glitches, or any other problem you may find. We would also welcome your comments and suggestions — what you feel we got right/wrong, what we missed, and what you would like to see here.

It will be a pleasure to hear from you, no matter how big or small your contribution.

God bless you!
The Universal.org Team
