Depressed With Unexplainable Illnesses

yvette

  • Was allergic to food, perfumes, jewelry and more.
  • Depressed because her oldest son was taken from her.
  • Saw the UCKG TV Program and chose to participate.
  • Is now free from all of her allergies and from depression.
  • Was reunited with her oldest son.

Rape, neglect and physical abuse were experiences that marked Yvette’s life as a young girl. After high school, she enrolled in her local college, hoping to escape from her past experiences and make something out of her life, but the cycle of rape and violence repeated itself again.

Some time later, Yvette started having unexplainable illnesses. She developed various allergies that made her unable to care for her children or even for herself. Her allergy to wheat caused her to have a severe reaction to any food that contained wheat. Perfumes and cleaning products irritated her and would cause her to have migraine headaches, and even jewelry would cause immediate swelling and painful rashes. These allergies were followed by Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Insomnia.

In seeing that she was unable to care for anyone, her oldest son was taken from her by his father, which led her to depression.

It was in one of her sleepless nights that Yvette came across the UCKG TV program.  The message that she heard made her make up her mind to attend the church.

From the moment that she went to church, she began seeing gradual changes. However, even though the illnesses were lessening, they were still there. It wasn’t until after a Sunday afternoon meeting when the pastor asked the people how long they were willing to put up with their problems that Yvette decided to take action.

Yvette refused to continue living with allergies and sickness, and so she decided to face her problems with faith. She started eating foods that were previously toxic to her, including bread, pasta, cakes and anything containing wheat, and she also bought herself some make-up and jewelry and put it on confident in her faith.

To her surprise, these things, which would have caused massive physical reactions that would lead her to the hospital, did nothing to her at all. Her digestive system was fine, as she looked at herself in the mirror, she didn’t see any rashes or swelling, and she felt no pain whatsoever.

Now, Yvette is healed, free from depression, her migraines and all other reactions she had disappeared and she is also able to sleep normally every night. She was reunited with her older son and now she can spend time playing with her children. God transformed her life completely!

Welcome to Universal.org
the official website of The Universal Church for North America.

We’re not quite finished yet, as you can see, but we thought we would no longer wait until we had it "perfect" before launch. After all, it is you who can help us make the site better as it evolves. Even though the Spanish and Portuguese versions of our site are now live, it's only as a beta version and we would welcome the help of translators to and from each of the three languages of the site. If you feel you can help, ¡escribanos!

It would be great if you could test out all the sections, but in particular the Bookstore, Forum, and Church Locator.

Please inform us of bugs, glitches, or any other problem you may find. We would also welcome your comments and suggestions — what you feel we got right/wrong, what we missed, and what you would like to see here.

It will be a pleasure to hear from you, no matter how big or small your contribution.

God bless you!
