Glossary of terms
Holy Trinity – defined in Christianity as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Pentecost – commemorates the gift of the Holy Spirit to the apostles of Jesus Christ on the seventh Sunday after Easter.
Special Services – Meetings held in rented locations which only occur once or a few times a week at determined times.
Soul – A soul is who you are, the person, what differentiates you from others, that remains for eternity when you die.
Gospel - the account of Christ's life, teachings, and instructions as contained in the first four books of the New Testament, namely Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Canaan – The land promised to the Israelites by God.
Kibbutz - A communal farm or factory in Israel run collectively and dedicated to the principle that production work and domestic work are of equal value.
Neo-Pentecostal – A branch of the Pentecostal movement in which the Holy Spirit is placed with high emphasis but traditional particularities are overlooked.
New Start – A Lifestyle program which promotes wellness and health.
