THE FREEDOM THAT ENSLAVES (SECRET IN GENESIS)

Don't be a fish outside your habitat. Change the course of your life and discover true freedom with God.

“Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so” (Genesis 1:11).

See a secret that is embedded in the book of Genesis. Pay close attention because you probably never realised this truth.

When God created all that exists, He did it with the Word. And, by His authority, the elements were created. For example: when He created the trees, God spoke to the earth to produce the herbs.

When God created the fish and the reptiles, He spoke to the water:

“Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures[…]” (Genesis 1:20).

You can read the entire account of the creation in the first chapter.

But when God created man, He spoke to Himself:

“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth” (Genesis 1:26).

The earth was to create the trees, but man originated from God Himself.

Therefore, just as a tree taken from the earth dies, the man taken from the presence of God is also spiritually dead.

This fact explains why so many people are empty and without joy and need to resort to so many gimmicks for a little bit of joy.

They need parties, costumes, drinks and drugs, exotic places, friends, and music. They need external gimmicks to have happy moments.

It is because they are “fishes out of water”, creatures far from the Creator, out of their true habitat.

For the world, life with God is a prison, deprived of pleasures. But that’s not true. People who seek pleasures and freedoms are slaves to it. The person who uses drugs wants to try again and again (they become slaves). This “freedom” enslaved them.

God created man to dominate, not to be a slave. In the verse, it is written: “have dominion”. This is God’s wish: that you come to dominate and be in control.

It is for our good when God controls us so we may be freed from ourselves. You must have this awareness because you will find precisely the opposite in your search for happiness.

There is no way to find happiness if you look for it where it isn’t. Many will die looking for this happiness and will not find it (as we see in every Carnival period, people dying).

Therefore, if you want to find true happiness, you need to seek it. And where is it? It’s in God. Now, you choose the path: whether you will get attached to God or be someone outside their natural habitat.

Think about it and check out the video above.
