Godllywood: a 2012 retrospective — Lisbon, Portugal
Dear and beloved Mrs. Ester Bezerra,
We thought that a strong woman was the one who spoke up in defense of her rights. But you taught us that the power of a woman is in fearing God and living by what she believes, and not by what she feels.
We thought that to be discreet was to go unnoticed, to hide and have no expression. But, you taught us that we are discreet when we submit to the will of God and let ourselves be used by Him, even if this means being bold sometimes.
We thought that a woman’s value rested in her being recognized, but you taught us that our value is in giving, in being an offering — without expecting anything in return.
Everyone sees you as a ‘powerful’ woman, but only you know the struggles and inner conflicts that you had to overcome in order to see the magnitude of the power of God in the lives of those who have made themselves worthy to be chosen by Him.
You gave birth to not only two beautiful women of God, but also to a great nation of women.
Thousands of souls have been won through our lives!
This whole nation is the result of a seed you sowed in faith a long time ago — your total surrender and the tears you shed in your moments of intimacy with God.
It is impossible to put into words how grateful we are or express how much we love you. Ando so, our way of thanking you is to give others what we have received.
As warriors of the Army of God, we win souls for our God.
A friend
