The day has come!
But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said,… “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”
And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” Genesis 22.7
Isaac’s question and Abraham’s answer show the Spirit of the Israel Challenge.
Abraham knew that not doing what God had asked of him meant going back to Haran.
Abraham knew that God would not put at risk everything He had already done.
Abraham knew that whenever God asked him for something, something far greater happened.
Abraham did not imagine that today, thousands of years later, almost everywhere in the world, where there is a Universal Church, people would go to the Altar like he did to surrender their all, sacrifice and live in a marriage with God!
