The human being is a creature with imitation skills. We have the inclination, the tendency, and sometimes even the unconscious need to copy what we see around us.

That’s why there is a trend.
Someone defines, for example, that now, the fashion is to wear torn clothes below the waist and if you don’t walk like that, you’re outdated.
So now the masses go to the stores and end up buying clothes that a few years ago were clothes for homeless people and today, it has become clothes for celebrities!

It’s no use saying: “I’m unique; I don’t imitate anyone”. Because, whether you like it or not, you’ll copy someone.
You are programmed for this in your nature. Since you must look somewhere, you must choose where to look because you will eventually get there, so why not look at what is good?,
because If you keep admiring and following people who are not the best examples, you will end up like them.

We see in the story of Gideon: “I am the Lord your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.” But you have not obeyed My voice”
(Judges 6:10).

God’s order was to expel the Amorites from there, as they were against what God was proposing to Israel.
But they did not do this and ended up being influenced by the Amorites and adopted the worship of the pagan gods of those people.
God spoke, and the people did not hear, but the Amorites spoke, and the people heard.
Do you see how influential people are?

Of course, our God is invisible, and the gods of the Amorites were of wood and stone.
So, humanly, that was more attractive because people could handle it. People want to feel it. Cults seek to attract people with something that appeals to human emotions.

Sadly, people listen more to the trends of this world than to what God says, which just like in the times of Gideon, people end up suffering!
