“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.” Ecclesiastes 9:10

Only a few things resist hard and intelligent work that most do not want to do. Putting strength in what you do means not doing it anyhow.

But many people, unfortunately, have learnt in life to do the bare minimum. They do the least for their marriage, the least for their parents not to complain, and the least for the boss not to complain; they do the least of the least and not as the Word of God teaches.

So is Salvation. The Lord Jesus said that whoever wants to enter the Kingdom of Heaven has to take it by force; meaning only those who strive to enter it. So, if the person is used to not striving in the small areas of life, how will they strive for the greatest, which is Salvation, the admission into the Kingdom of Heaven? This way of thinking is the recipe for hell here on earth and after this earth, too.

If you want to succeed in this life, the next thing you must learn is how to do things with all your strength; it will be better not to do it than to do it anyhow. That’s how our way of living has to be.
