Those who have the Holy Spirit do not usually say they do, but there will be signs. Those who do not have the Holy Spirit will have no signs but will usually say that they have.

Who is the Holy Spirit? It is a promise from God in His Word. God is three in one: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. How is it possible to be three at the same time? Well, it’s like us. I’m several in one: I’m a husband, father and son. And this will be revealed to us, in full understanding, whenever God wants. But you need to understand now that the Holy Spirit is the Person of God promised to dwell within a Christian. Those who don’t have the Holy Spirit don’t have God. And just as you are responsible only for what is yours, God is also responsible only for who is His.

The person should not do anything to deserve the Holy Spirit. However, they must be able to receive Him. For example, believe. But it’s not the “believe” of “acknowledging God”; it’s a surrender of life. People in the Primitive Church knew that “believing” was “to expose themselves to the loss of assets, family members, to become an enemy of the State and, perhaps, even to be tortured and killed”. When the belief is true to this point, the person is blessed with the Holy Spirit; He comes to live within them. And when that happens, there are signs.

Those who have the Holy Spirit may have problems because they live in a world of problems, but the person is not “the” problem. They are not a difficult person to live with, complicated, hateful. The Holy Spirit teaches the person not to keep the grudge and empowers them to overcome it. There are people whom you have to “walk on eggshells”; they take everything you say to the wrong side; they have unresolved issues inside them; they are heavy people, difficult to live with. The person who does not have the Holy Spirit is a troublemaker; in everything, they generate resistance. There are things we should question (in the sense of wisdom), but there are things that are obvious for your own well-being. A person who does not have the Holy Spirit creates problems where it does not exist.

Those who have the Holy Spirit have clarity of mind, are disciplined, have the character of God, do not live in lies, and do not commit injustices consciously (on purpose). Those who have the Holy Spirit have the “awareness of the other” (of what belongs to the other). If you suffer an injustice, don’t give up because of it. We are blessed when we suffer injustice because of faith (our reward increases). Those who do not have the Holy Spirit cannot stand the desert; the person abandons God. “He didn’t listen to me. I’m leaving,” they say.

So, those who do not have the signs but say they have the Holy Spirit are mistaken. They are in the worst possible situation: they do not have the Holy Spirit but believe they do.
