This is what the churches have the most and that is why there are so many scandals and bad testimonies in ‘Christian’ circles.

Deceiving spirits are behind gossip, dissension, rebellion and hidden sins. They cause mischief every day and everywhere, and those who are not born of God end up being used by them.

The urgent need for a new birth is more related to the spiritual nature than anything else.

Those born of the Spirit are spirit, meaning they have God’s nature. Only then will they be apt to face hell with the means to overcome it.

In addition to this, they have good judgement to identify the deceiving spirits and know how to neutralise them.

Satan seeks to imitate the Work of God in everything. While the Holy Spirit chooses individuals who will lead His people to salvation, Satan has raised up charismatic leaders to generate carnality and thus try to confuse, if possible, even God’s elect.

That is why the Lord Jesus said:

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ Matthew 7.22

How can we know who is who?

The man of God is known not by his achievements, but by his spiritual character.

Only those who are spirit can discern spirits. Those who have a carnal nature do not have this capability.
