The wisdom of winning souls

Imagem de capa - The wisdom of winning souls

“And he who wins souls is wise.” (Proverbs 11:30)

To the world, doctors, the most renowned scientists, Pelé (in football), Tomas Edson (who invented the light bulb), Santos Dumont (who invented the aeroplane), and many others, were wise people who excelled on the world stage. I do not disagree with that; however, from the point of view of God, wise are those who win souls.

A doctor can save lives, but he cannot be used to save souls. Scientists can develop a new formula of a drug, but not the formula for true happiness: the joy of the soul.

Pelé sent millions of Brazilians into a frenzy with his moves, but he did not add anything in the future of the souls of those who one day labelled him “king of football”.

Tomas Edson invented the light bulb, but he never managed to snatch a soul from spiritual darkness.

Santos Dumont invented the aeroplane, but he never managed to teach a single soul how to fly on the wings of faith and enter the presence of God.

No human being can do what we do. We allow God to use us to take souls from the devil’s foul grip, casting out demon by demon as if they were chiggers; we heal and bless these people, and most importantly, we allow the Doctor of doctors to use us as tools to perform a spiritual transplant, where a person’s earthly, fleshly, worldly being is replaced with a spiritual, godly being—which is the new birth.

These are the people God considers to be wise: the soul winners. People who leave everything behind to save the lives of those who are not related to them, and many times don’t even know who they are. I am privileged to be considered the rubbish of the world, because in the eyes of God, I am wise.

Assistants, evangelists, VYG, members and we all pastors and wives, let us be wise. Let us win souls. Let us invade hell and bring those souls into heaven. You can do it in your neighbourhood, in your city, in your borough, in your workplace, in school, on the bus, on the train, etc. Let’s put all our energy into working for 27th October.

IT’S THE ORDER OF DAY, THE MONTH, AND THE YEAR until Jesus returns.

How can I forget my dear mother who evangelised me and brought me to the church in her arms 34 years ago? At that time, my legs could support body weight because I had been a victim of witchcraft that almost got me paralysed. What about you, do you remember who convinced you to come to church and began the process of winning your soul?

Now, do the same for someone else. Take as many souls as possible to the nearest UCKG HelpCentre on 27th October!

These souls will never forget you, and God will never forget to make your feet beautiful:

How beautiful upon the mountainsare the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion,“Your God reigns!” (Isaiah 52:7)

God bless you.
