Day 33 of the 40 Day Fast of Jesus
The Place of Pure Faith
Thank God! The construction of the Temple has finished. And the credit is not mine; it couldn’t be of a man. All the people of the Universal Church, hand in hand, in a great movement of faith, tithed, gave their offerings, sacrificed, prayed and fasted so the project of the Most High could be executed. The same integrity of heart and the same voluntary spirit that was in the people who took their offerings to David for the construction of the first Temple were seen in those who invested their time and their resources restlessly in the realisation of this wonder.
In the same way, thousands of workers, including engineers, architects, carpenters, painters and welders worked restlessly in turns, day and night, so that the construction of the Altar of the Eternal on earth would not be interrupted for not even one minute out of the 24 hours of the day.
Despite the incredible number of workers working incessantly for four years, no serious or fatal accident was reported. Their safety was closely and carefully taken care of by the Master. God’s eyes were already open to that place even before the works began, protecting each of those who would dedicate their days to build the house of the Lord of Hosts. They will certainly continue reaping what they have sown there. They honoured the opportunity they received to build that Holy Place.
The biggest proof of the Holiness of this City of Faith is that not even one cent from the Federal State or Municipal Government, bank loans or donations from mega entrepreneurs was spent on it. Everything was done with an absolutely holy, pure and clean budget. Millions of members and supporters of the Universal Church all over the planet united themselves in one faith, in one Spirit, and carried their stone for the construction of the Temple of the Almighty.
It was driven by the firm conviction that this was the House of the Glory of Israel. An assurance so strong, a conviction so deep, that it drew God’s presence to that place in such a way that the Temple became much more than a Universal Church. God honours the faith of those who surrender themselves. God honours the pure and genuine faith of those who embrace the cause of the Gospel. And those who live by this faith grow steadily, just like the dwelling place of the Holy One of Israel did.
We faced real battles in the physical and spiritual realms so that the construction would continue unabated. But throughout the course of this Holy Work, our Guide, the Holy Spirit did not leave us alone. And what seemed impossible for many people became possible. Nothing and no one was able to stop what God started. Likewise, He will never forsake those who, through faith, imprinted a bit of themselves into those stones and into that Altar, and there they will remain forever.
Every brick, every stone, and every inch of that place has a bit of those who helped. God knows the name of everyone who contributed for the vision to be fulfilled today. And He will not forget what He found in the spirit of those who, with determination, stood fast in the purpose of building the Sanctuary of our God.
The presence of God already fills that Place, even before its inauguration. And when He looks at the Temple, He certainly sees your blood. When He looks at the Temple, He sees your faith. And the presence that fills that Temple also reaches your life.
The prayer made by David after he received the offerings of the people for the construction is the same prayer I make today, for all the people who, with determination, made it possible for this work to be completed.
“O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and fix their heart toward You.” 1 Chronicles 29:18
May God bless the Universal Church and all those who brought into existence what was just a dream; all those who made it possible for the Temple built for the glory of the Living God to be finalised; and all those who, by their works, showed the world their faith.
“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more…” Revelation 3:10-12
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, PEOPLE OF GOD!
