Bishop Macedo,

I have had Jewish friends for more than 15 years, and I’ve always spoken to them about our love for Jews and Israel. With the inauguration of the Temple of Solomon, I sent them messages from your blog, including “European Life”.

This is what they wrote back to me:

First, I would like to congratulate all of you for the exciting inauguration of the Temple of Solomon.

During conversations with several friends, we feel that for the first time in thousands of years we have brothers on our side who defend the path of light… The path of faith and truth…

I was overwhelmed with pride to see and listen to Bishop Edir Macedo – regardless of whether or not he spoke about Jesus (which, happens to be the only difference between us), the important thing is to spread kindness and humbleness, and, above all, the Word of God to all people.

God does not want deaths… God does not want war… God just wants people to be faithful. And to be faithful is to wish others well.

Again, congratulations brother.

If you ever speak to Bishop Edir Macedo, you can tell him that we are proud of the Universal Church.
