Man’s greatest concern is with his future. The uneasiness of the subject has encouraged him to look for ways to find out what will happen. This is why man began to study the weather forecast, astrology, estimates… But, the truth is that we can all have a clear understanding of how our lives will be, not only in 10, 20 or 30 years, but also where we will spend eternity.

Jesus said the Kingdom of God is within each person (Luke 17.21). Therefore, we can conclude that the kingdom of the devil is too. And if both kingdoms are within man, no one can see or know which one is within someone else. You only know which one is within yourself. So, no one but themselves, can know what awaits them in eternity.

This means that what is within you is a small sample of what you will live forever, even after you leave this world. Just as the Kingdom of God is a sample of the Kingdom of Heaven, the kingdom of the devil is a sample of the kingdom of hell.

So, when righteousness, peace and joy is within you, as it’s described in Romans 14.17, your eternal life will also be filled with righteousness, peace and joy. But when there is evil, suffering and sorrow within you, then your eternal life will also be of great evil, suffering and sorrow.

If you have heaven while your alive, then you will have heaven when you die. But if you have hell while your alive, then you will have hell when you die. This has nothing to do with what is around you; it solely has to do with your interior. Those who are born of God have paradise within their heart, even amid a hell load of problems. Meanwhile, those who are not born of God have hell within their heart, even amid a delightfully comfortable life, with no major concerns.

So, if you want to know where you will spend eternity, just look within yourself. What you are living now in your interior, is what you will live forever on the exterior, unless you change direction before leaving this world.

Do not be fooled by a title, a religion, a reputation or that good feeling you may get from material possessions.

Remember: the effects of the sample that is within you will extraordinarily be multiplied in the future, and you do not know if it will come today, tomorrow or in 10 years. Therefore, it is necessary to be prepared, and strive to have the Kingdom of God within yourself, so when the day comes, you may enter.
