A mixture of bloods
“Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. And He said to them, ‘This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many’.” Mark 14.23-24
Sometimes I wonder why we have seen many assistants, members and Christians in general, say that they believe in a God that’s so great and so powerful, yet they live such a mediocre life, they’re so tied-up. Often, there is a huge distance keeping them away from the glorious promises of God and their fulfillment in their lives.
We know that between us and the fulfillment of the Lord’s promises is the devil, trying to obstruct our victories, but the truth is that many do not have a true partnership with the God of promises. This is why they are not fulfilled. In the cup of the new covenant made by Jesus, a homogenous mixture must occur between His blood (life) and our blood (life), so that no one can tell apart who is who. Remember what our Lord said to Philip?
“Jesus said to him, ‘Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?” John 14.9
Assistants, this is the true and new covenant made between God and us. It begins with our tithes and offerings, which represent our blood (our life) in the cup of sacrifice that was in the Lord’s hands on the night of the Lord’s Supper.
Anyone that is truly adamant about this new covenant will be Jesus in this world, in the person of the Holy Spirit, conquering all of hell that rises up as a barrier between the promises of God and His realizations, because nothing and no one can defeat us.
It’s like the apostle John said:
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” 1 John 5.4
Think about it: if you still do not have this new covenant, you are wasting time. Do it now. And if you broke yours because of sin, reconcile with God right now—He is the Essence of mercy and will receive you with open arms.
God bless you
