A smile on the lips and poison in the heart

Every sin is a sin.

Large, medium or small, it does not matter, you are subject to be condemned for eternity,

For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6.23

However, some sins are so subtle that you might not even notice them. They are so close to the heart that they seem to be part of it; this is part of a religious character; a smile on the lips and poison in the heart.

One of them came to Jesus and asked:

Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God… (blah-blah-blah…)

What do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? (pure evil) Matthew 22.16-17

First, praise; then, poison. They wanted to condemn Jesus with His own answer.

Malice is the kind of sin that kills little by little.

As long as a person nourishes any malicious intentions, he will never be able to get God’s attention, and his life will never get unstuck.

What good is it to be faithful with tithes and have a malicious heart?

Wouldn’t this be an attempt to please God and the devil?

Is it possible for the malicious to be visited by God?

This has been one of the biggest OBSTACLES in the lives of many religious people;

They see everything with bad eyes;

They look at the pastor with malice;

They see the offering with malice;

They see the assistants and other people with malice…

The following is Jesus’ advice for these people:

The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body is full of darkness. Luke 11.34
