Human beings have suffered with much pain, misery, diseases, sadness, depression, etc. However, none of it can be compared to the days that are still to come…

In the revelation given to the prophet Daniel, we can imagine what will happen soon after the rapture of the church of Jesus.

“At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book.” Daniel 12:1

If it is already embarrassing and humiliating to arrive at a place and not be able to enter because you are not on the guest list, imagine what the entrance to heaven will be like.

“And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.” Daniel 12:2

Those who are written in the book (the people of God) – in addition to not having to suffer the evils to come – will be able to enjoy eternity with the Lord of their soul in heaven.

What must you do to have your name written in the book and not be left out?

Surrender your soul to the One who bought it, regardless of who you are or what you have done wrong. Follow the example of the thief on the cross and make a decision while you’re still alive whether or not you want to go to heaven with Jesus. By doing so, you will be washed and redeemed by the blood of the Lord Jesus to glorify Him in eternity.

“And they sang a new song, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation.” Revelation 5:9
