Chosen to be a pillar

Imagem de capa - Chosen to be a pillar

A servant of God has two special things he cares about:

First: the salvation of his soul;

Second: the salvation of others.

When it comes to the salvation of his soul, he cares for it as if it were the apple of his eye. It is his infinite and eternal treasure, received from the Spirit of God.

Regarding the salvation of others, he gives it his all – body, soul and spirit – because he understands it is a mission given by the Holy Spirit Himself.

Taking care of his Salvation with the same dedication as his body, shows his respect and fear towards the Lord who conquered it on Calvary.

The opposite also applies, when there is neglect for Salvation, it shows neglect for all that the Lord Jesus suffered for him at Calvary.

It is no different when it comes to taking care of his Salvation. He was chosen out of billions to serve his Lord and Savior.

Very few have the privilege of giving to the lost what they received from the Most High. He was chosen to be a pillar in the foundation of the Temple of the Eternal in each person.

If he deflects his focus as a servant and seeks to serve himself during this mission, he loses the vision he received. He also loses the purpose of his mission.

This is why many moved ahead quickly and conquered great things, but today they are fallen, down and out.

While they served the One who chose them, they were successful, but when they evaluated their “insignificant” condition of servants and longed to be served, they lost…

They lost the privilege of being pillars in the Temple of the Most High.

Worse: they lost the Salvation of their souls.

What is most glorious, precious, and worthy in the life of a person that serves the Most High? Serving Him.

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My New Name. Revelation 3.12
