He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16.16

What would this condemnation be? Those who have already been condemned here on earth know very well the terrible pain and despair this word carries.

I’ve had the opportunity to speak to people who were convicted of stealing, killing, kidnapping, or making mistakes that caused them to be put behind bars. Some told me that they were sentenced to five, six and even ten years in prison. When I asked them about the day they received their sentence, they all said the same thing with tears in their eyes: “It was the worst day of my life.”

Prison is temporary. Many people even manage to reduce their sentence, whether for good behavior, with bail, lawyers and other means. When a person is condemned here on earth, there are means that will allow him to released from prison. This condemnation is not eternal. It may take a few years, but there is the possibility of freedom.

But when it comes to spiritual condemnation, it is different, because it is eternal. After death, the person will not have anyone else to turn to, he will no longer have anyone to ask for help, he will not have a lawyer and there will be no more freedom.

Nobody likes the idea of being imprisoned, not even for a day. So much so, that when a person receives a 10-year sentence, for example, he goes into despair.
Now, stop and think… if you knew that you would be imprisoned for all of eternity, what would you be willing to do to be free from this condemnation?

Therefore we preach the gospel to all of creation, to every nation, so that no one goes to this place. The ship of Salvation is passing, but if you do not go in it, if you do not pay the price, if you do not sacrifice your life, you will regret it and then it will be too late.

And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. Matthew 25.46

Those who reject this ship today will suffer the grave consequences of their choices on Judgment Day. Each person will receive their sentence, whether it is because of the corrupt and unjust acts they practiced or for their position before God and others.

The condemned will suffer the greatest torments and pains for all of eternity. But the righteous, who accepted to enter the ship of Salvation, will enjoy the Glory of God and live with Him forever.
Seize the opportunity, before you are eternally condemned.
Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55.6
