God, His servant and His Kingdom

For a man of God’s work to become fruitful, he needs to combine grieving for lost souls upon the Altar, with whatever means of communication are available to reach them. His work will develop quicker, and more importantly, it will be a work of quality. If he only trusts in means of communication to grow his church, defeat will be inevitable, because a spirit of complacency will take hold of him.

When a man of God’s life is really and truly on the Altar – body, soul and spirit – he follows these seven commands:

One:You will give the same attentiveness to people that you give to God, as it is written:

If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar. For whoever does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 1 John 4:20

Two:Weeping will be a part of your fight for the people that God sends you. Each man of God represents the Lord Jesus, and each person that sets foot in the Church is sent by the Holy Spirit so that His servant will show them the path to Salvation. Once that person is saved, they will glorify the Lord Jesus. This is why He said:

No one can come to Me unless the Father who has sent Me draws him… John 6:44

The Lord God said:

Between the temple porch and the altar, let the priests, ministers of the Lord, weep and say, “Have pity upon Your people, and do not make Your heritage a disgrace, a mockery among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’” Joel 2:17

Three:Never do the work of God carelessly or negligently. The prophet Jeremiah said:

Cursed be he who does the work of the Lord negligently… Jeremiah 48:10

Being negligent in the work of God is like fighting your worst enemy with a random object.

Four: Have a hunger and thirst to save souls. When this does not happen, a man of God feels like Sarah, Rachel and Hannah. They felt shame, humiliation and a bitterness of the soul, and these feelings always disturb a man of God who is unfruitful. Because of this he is not ashamed to cry out to God, pleading for souls.

Five:Be happy and joyful to see people being born again. There is no greater pleasure for someone whose life is on the Altar. There is nothing better than to see people who once belonged to the kingdom of darkness be brought to the fullness of the Holy Spirit, clean, happy and joyful, glorifying the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Six:Do not be jealous or envious of the growth of a colleague in the ministry. Rather, rejoice in his growth and pray for him to see even more fruit, like the woman in the parable of the lost drachma. The Lord taught:

Or what woman, having ten silver coins and losing one, does not light a candle and sweep the house and search diligently until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, “Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost.” Luke 15:8-9

Seven: Do not simply worry about winning people for the Lord Jesus. More than anything, make them into disciples. This is the most noticeable characteristic of a consecrated man of God. He is more concerned about making disciples than anything else, because he knows that the growth of the Kingdom of God in this world depends on men who have the same character of the Lord Jesus.
