God’s math
God the Father proved His interest in saving you when He offered 100% of His Son on Calvary;
God the Son resurrected, ascended to heaven, sat on the Throne of Glory and sent 100% of His Spirit to guide you every day of your life on Earth. This is according to His Word: God does not give the Spirit by measure. John 3.34
So you either have Him 100%, or you don’t have Him.
How could God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit accept part of you, even if it was 99.999%?
Would this be fair? Reasonable? Intelligent?
Imagine giving 100% of yourself to someone you love, and receiving 99% in return. Would that be enough? Would you accept this?
Imagine giving your wife tons of expensive gifts, yet continuing to betray her. Would she accept this?
And if it were the other way around. Would you accept it?
Well then!
Foolish people think this is possible to do with the Holy Spirit. They insist on believing that, as long as some of their life is surrendered on the Altar, even though it’s not 100%, it is enough to achieve the Fullness of the Spirit of God.
Don’t fool yourself. You can’t play games or try to negotiate with God.
Either you die to this malicious life and surrender entirely to the Lord Jesus Christ, or nothing can be done.
