Gold medal

Imagem de capa - Gold medal

Good morning, Bishop!

I was watching the medal ceremony for a couple of categories in the Olympics.

When an athlete receives a gold medal and the anthem of their country plays, some cry with emotion.
I think that at that moment the medalist remembers all the struggles, obstacles, difficulties, preparation, commitment and sacrifice he made to get up there and be honored with the medal.

So I began wondering how extremely sublime and glorious it will be when we receive the crown of life.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. 1 Corinthians 9.24-25

All the tests and sacrifices are worth it, because they help us remain firm until the end and conquer eternal life.

Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. Revelation 2.10
