When a person lives subject to the kingdom of this world, the devil is his lord. The only way out, and at the same time, of entrance into the Kingdom of God is to switch lords. This depends on the surrender of life to the Son of God. When a person rejects such surrender, it means his life remains in the kingdom of darkness.

However, many who have chosen to follow and serve the Lord Jesus, eventually try to reconcile two masters: the Lord and themselves. They think the faith they received can be divided between one and the other.

Because of this, they end up fermenting with the Pharisaic spirit, turn into hypocrites and become old prophets.

For such, the Lord Jesus addressed the following words:

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Matthew 7.21
