Why haven’t I received the Holy Spirit?

Day 3 of the Fast of Daniel

Why haven’t most Christians received the Holy Spirit, when He has already been sent?
What has kept them from being sealed with the Holy Spirit?
An absence of faith? Of merits? Total dedication?

There are many reasons.

I believe that the greatest obstacle for the descent of the Holy Spirit has been a lack of total commitment.

God the Holy Spirit means the down pouring of 100% of God Almighty to those who believe. Those who want to receive Him must be willing to surrender themselves 100% to His Son Jesus Christ.

It is the ALL OF GOD in exchange for the ALL OF THOSE WHO BELIEVE.
Unfortunately, not everyone is truly willing to surrender their lives or turn away from sin.

They accept Jesus as their Savior but do not want Him as their Lord.
They want to enjoy life without a serious commitment to Him.

You can only believe in those who claim to believe in Him when they receive the SEAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

BECAUSE, THOSE WHO TRULY BELIEVE WILL MARRY HIM, AND ASSUME THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE LORD JESUS BEFORE THEIR FAMILY, THE WORLD, AND HELL.

There is no in between. It is yes, yes or no, no. EITHER YOU BELIEVE, OR YOU DON’T BELIEVE!

Many pretend the Lord Jesus is Lord and Savior of their life. They pretend to be faithful to Him. They pretend to be spiritual. They pretend to seek Him. They pretend to be of God. Pretend, pretend and pretend…
Year, after year, they continue to pretend.

There is a popular saying among politicians: You pretend to keep your word, and I’ll pretend to believe you. And it’s every man for himself.

Of course, the Spirit of God does not pretend to believe in a person’s surrender. However, because He knows the inner most being of man, He is saddened to see so much deceit.
On the other hand, the devil likes this.
And the person’s life continues tied up indefinitely.
He goes to Church, is a tither, is faithful with his vows, prays, cries, but does not give up his freedom to sin.

Jesus said:
He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. John 3.36

Obs.: To believe, in the original biblical text, means to fully surrender –body, soul, and spirit – UNCONDITIONALLY.
