In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14.2-3 

We all know that sand, dirt, cement, stones and other materials are necessary to build a house. As we buy these materials and give them to the construction company, the structure slowly starts to take shape and it will either become a simple house or a mansion.

Jesus said: In my Father’s house are many mansions… I go and prepare a place for you.

If you meditate on this passage, you will see that He is the builder of these heavenly mansions.

But what material does the Lord Jesus need to build our house above the stars? Holiness; a communion with God through prayer and worship; walking in righteousness, fear, obedience, faithfulness and reverence; loving the lost souls; a clean conscience; good character; besides the struggles, trails and persecutions, that cause our faith to grow, without which it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11.6

We also know that everything in this life has a price, and it increases or decreases according to the quality of what you want. To obtain a heavenly mansion, the price to be paid is indeed very high, because the currency exchange for this mansion is SACRIFICIAL FAITH, turning away from sin, detachment from material possessions such as money, houses, cars, children, husband, wife, personal projects etc. Its making these things lose value before your spiritual vision and the idea of one day being able to enjoy this new home where there is no electricity, because the Lord Jesus will be our Light.

There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever. Revelation 22.5

It’s worth sacrificing and paying whatever price it takes to conquer your HEAVENLY MANSION for all of Eternity.
