The SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound… Isaiah 61.1

I have been meditating on this:

The Holy Spirit was upon the prophet. In those days, He anointed (enabled) him to preach (use faith), heal (restore), free captives from evil, help the suffering, do something to change the lives of the desperate…

Now, imagine the Holy Spirit inside a person, making him a wellspring. What will He do through him?

The Holy Spirit is no longer upon a person. Either He is in a person, or He is not!

How can someone say he has Him, or that he wants Him, yet continue to do his own will?

Whoever says he has Him but only thinks about himself and his needs is only deceiving himself!

As long as his ego, self-will, and personal needs are not sacrificed on the Altar, the fullness of the Holy Spirit will not be in him!

Those who think of their neighbor, think like God, feel the pain of God, and suffer with the thought of someone dying without being saved!

The Lord Jesus said:

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1.8

To be a witness is to speak about what you have seen, what happened in your presence, and what you would do, because the Holy Spirit is God in action through the body in which He dwells…

The price to have the Holy Spirit is the sacrifice of your own will!

And the Fast of Daniel is an opportunity.
