People are concerned about arming (guaranteeing) themselves with various things: positions, assets, titles, etc.

However, the Lord Holy Spirit has told us to arm ourselves with this single weapon of thought:

“Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.” 1 Peter 4:1-2

We have little time left and this applies to our life in the flesh. Therefore, we must:

• Be armed in our minds, thinking on the things from above;
• Keep guard over our thoughts;
• Be prepared to suffer for Jesus;
• Invest everything in the baptism with the Holy Spirit;
• Be vigilant;
• Protect our salvation until the end.
