Let there be light!
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Genesis 1.3
When God said, “Let there be light,” He was not creating the sun or the stars; He was creating His essence, which is the light.
God was manifesting His greatness at that very moment.
Did you know that one of the characteristics of light is justice?
Light is fair because it travels in a straight line; it does not turn corners.
He created the light and then gave sequence to everything else.
When God said, “Let there be light,” He was saying, “Let there be righteousness.”
God created righteousness to organize society, so that people can be instructed by this righteousness, and respect each other’s rights.
Because the hardest thing to bear in this world is unrighteousness.
Jesus said:
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matthew 5.6
The only being created by God with a sense of righteousness is the human being.
And God is pleased with those who thirst and hunger for righteousness, this is, for light.
But when a person turns away from righteousness, tries to turn off the light, it’s because he likes unrighteousness, darkness, so he suffers the consequences.
However, for those who persevere in the pursuit of righteousness, Jesus said:
And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 18.7-8
Fight, persevere!
Even when the entire world stands up against you.
Even when no one believes in you.
When you believe in yourself and in God, justice will be done in your life!
