Malice

You must be vigilant at all times…

Thoughts without malice are a source of life. Not only has it corrupted the pureness of good faith, but malice has also been primarily responsible for the fall of many Christians.

Lately, it hasn’t been the love between people that has grown cold, but the love between people and God. This kind of love refers to the love that comes from faith. This has been visible nowadays.

The quality of present-day Christian faith is similar to the faith experienced by Israel in the days of prophet Jeremiah. There is currently a huge apostasy of faith. And all of this is generated by malice.

I suggest meditating, not just reading, from the ninth chapter of Jeremiah. I highlight the following:

“And like their bow they have bent their tongues for lies. They are not valiant for the truth on the earth. For they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know Me,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 9.3

The strength of malicious “Christians,” this is, their prosperity, has not been to honor the Lord Jesus, but to dispute personal interests. This causes malice.

“Everyone take heed to his neighbor, and do not trust any brother; for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will walk with slanderers. Everyone will deceive his neighbor, and will not speak the truth; they have taught their tongue to speak lies; they weary themselves to commit iniquity. Your dwelling place is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know Me,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 9:4-6

When the Spirit warns against a bad conscience, it is actually referring to the spirit of malice. This is very common among the convinced, which are not converted. We must be vigilant at all times, so malice is not allowed to enter our hearts.
