Same place, same spirit, same faith
Day 21 of the Fast of Daniel
What made it favorable for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost?
Everyone was seated under the same roof, as if they were waiting to be “served.”
Without anxiety, everyone waited.
Patience, manners, and chivalry were portrayed in that environment of faith.
Even if they had access to current technology (mobile phone), no one would dare to bring it to that Place of Faith.
Everyone was in the same place. Everyone was enjoying the same thoughts. Everyone was united.
Do you remember the vision of David?
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133:1
To dwell in the same place means communion, unity of thoughts.
No one was thinking about himself or his own interests;
After all, they were only there for one reason: to await the Promise of the Lord Jesus.
The “earth” was ready to receive the Divine Seed.
Rocks, bushes, ants and everything else that prevented the growth of the Seed in the land had already been removed.
Sincerity, repentance, humbleness, along with faith, neutralized any evil attacks.
Everything cooperated for the outpouring of the Spirit of Jesus.
All of a sudden, a sound came from the heavens;
A sound like a rushing wind.
It filled the entire house where they were sitting.
Certainly, no one expected to speak in other languages.
They never even imagine it.
But this is what happened.
Unexpectedly, it happened as a sign of the fulfillment of the Promise.
This happened because they were all in the same place and in the same spirit and in the same faith; then they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to speak. Acts 2.4
