Reverse Racism – modern-day slavery

Imagem de capa - Reverse Racism – modern-day slavery

May 1888, the year slavery was abolished in Brazil. This should mean freedom for black people in the country, right? But it wasn’t!

Let’s talk a little bit about racism and freedom?

But first, read our disclaimer carefully.

The ministry of Intelligent Faith warns: Reading this post may cause irreversible changes in the way many that consider themselves inferior think, who are persecuted or wronged by society because of the color of their skin. And it may cause a sense of anger, aggression and disagreement from black militants, NGOs, activists and all kinds of pro-black (anti-white) movements.

Be warned! LOL

The idea we usually have about racism is that white people do not like black people, right? Wrong! Racism consists of a certain type of people who do not like, avoid, attack or exclude another type of people. Did you notice that I did not write “race,” but people, because we are all human and belong to the ” human race,” not a white, black, oriental, indigenous, etc. race. And this is the point I want to touch on – the fact that we are human, people, individuals. However, this doesn’t matter very much to many.

I am not speaking to those who judge or reject us because of the color of our skin, hair, body, etc. I am speaking to the “victims.” I am speaking to all the people of color, who, like myself, have experienced moments where we’ve felt the pain of being who we are, for having dark skin. I am speaking to those who dream of a better world, without racism. I am speaking to those who think we would be happier if racism did not exist. I am speaking to you when I say:

Stop dreaming of a world without racism and stop being a racist first!

Stop waiting for a law that guarantees you a spot in a university, and start developing your intelligence. Stop looking at yourself with self-pity!

Stop wanting to be accepted or taken under their wing!

Stop choosing doctors, political candidates, friends, artists, spiritual leaders, employees and even boyfriends, just because they are black like you, as if this were a determining criterion for your success!

STOP BEING RACIST!

Yes, you and I, even though we are black, we can also be racist, and this happens every time we act in the ways mentioned above, choosing to IDENTIFY ourselves with certain people because of the color of our skin. When I avoid another person because she is white, thinking that she will not understand me; when I judge and classify someone as allegedly being prejudice because he chose someone more capable than I to do something, but in my head it only happened because I am black. If you’ve ever seen yourself in these situations, you are a racist!

We, people who decided to adopt a life according to the Word of God, can not in any way submit to such slavery, the slavery of the mind, the intellect, the intelligence. Do you know how to break free from this? Following what the Bible says, asking and seeking answers there, and then applying them to your life.

Take the focus off other people’s racism and start looking at yourself, what is hidden under the rug of your condition as a victim. A person’s life can only change when their focus is on themselves.

I don’t live in Bobby’s World, or in Alice’s Wonderland! I know there are white people who consider themselves superior, and don’t miss an opportunity to attack, humiliate or exclude a person who has dark skin. I know! But, I have decided not to fight back to bring them down, punish them or prove something to them. I have decided to fight to build myself up!

I have decided not to waste energy feeling less than or inferior. I have decided to build myself up from the inside out, and this foundation doesn’t allow the aggressions I receive to the little Beetle that I am on the outside (LOL) do any damage to the war tank I am on the inside.

I would like to invite you to do the same. Free yourself from reverse racism, stop judging white people and pre-condemning them. Stop accusing others of racism, because you were not chosen for this or that.

Instead, chose yourself, be happy, be fulfilled in God and with your faith, raise your standards, live each day working towards being a better person. Believe in God and yourself, because it’s the only you can escape the spiritual and mental slave’s quarters, and enjoy the freedom that was granted to us, not by Princess Elizabeth, but by the Most High God!

Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8.36
