The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned. Matthew 4.16

The people who sat in darkness refers to those who are living in complete spiritual blindness. They do not have a lack of religion or philosophies. They lack intelligent faith, which sets them free, whether or not they deserve to be free. Access to intelligent faith comes with the knowledge of the Truth of God, which is registered in the Holy Bible.

The lack of knowledge of Scripture leaves people without choices, direction, light… This is why so many people find themselves in the waiting room of death. They are living in the region and shadow of death. This region is occupied by people awaiting death; they have been condemned by medicine and have no hope of living. Add to this group those suffocated by depression and considering giving up on life, etc. However, for those who sit in darkness and those who live in the region and the shadow of death, the effective, definitive and free medicine they need is: the Word that came from the Mouth of God.
This simple knowledge produces intelligent faith, which meets the needs of all who believe. This faith comes from the Spirit of God, in the right measure for every need. This is the Great Light, it is the Light that has shone since the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the WORD OF GOD that was made Flesh.

Therefore, intelligent faith has nothing to do with religion A, B or C. Intelligent faith brings answers to all those who believe in the WORD, whether they deserve it or not, whether they are saints or sinners, it does not matter. This is why the Light shines for those who sit in darkness, and those who sit in the region and shadow of death.
