The big fish that swallowed Jonah may have been from the same shark species as the one shown in the photo above. This shark is not a predator like other sharks. Because they do not have teeth, only a very large mouth, which is larger than a man, they are filter feeders and use suction to feed on smaller fish. Just as it is written in the Holy Bible. This is one more piece of evidence that the Word of God is true.

Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Jonah 1.17
Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the fish’s belly. Jonah 2.1
So the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land. Jonah 2.10
