The Father’s Offering

Imagem de capa - The Father’s Offering

When someone gives an offering, it is a spontaneous and generous act that is done by free will. No one gives an offering by imposition or obligation. For this reason, the offering is a faithful testimony against or in favor of the offering giver. Since it is done freely, the offering carries with it the depths of the soul of the offering giver. The offering does not lie or deceive. The offering placed before God exposes everything that is within the offering giver.

God rejected Cain’s offering because it (the offering) testified against him (Cain), saying: his works were evil… But he accepted Abel’s offering because his works were righteous. (1 John 3.12)

The Lord Jesus is the Greatest Example of an Offering. God the Father offered Him to save mankind. He is the exact expression of Righteousness, Mercy, and Faith. When someone rejects or despises Him, he or she loses the opportunity to be defended, justified, and saved by Him from the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, as He Himself said:

Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10.32

He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. Revelations 3.5
