The greatness of His Majesty

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers… Psalm 8.3

Only when you are born of water and the Spirit can you grasp the idea of what King David saw in heaven and was able to contemplate.

How often do we look at the sky and see nothing more than the sun, the moon and the stars?

How often do we marvel at such splendor?

Any poet could express the deepest feelings of his soul in a verse. However, this would be a mere result of what he is seeing with his physical eyes.

This is not what happened with David.

The king managed to see beyond his physical vision.

He saw the Invisible. The impossible.

He revisited the infinite past, and had a glimpse of the work of the Creation of the Almighty.

He saw the fingers of the Almighty creating the stars, the sun and the moon as the skilled hands of a grandma creating a crochet piece.

David was able to see the grandeur of the Eternal because he was entirely possessed by the Spirit of the Eternal.

Those possessed by the Spirit of the Creator have vision, they have dreams and their creations are not limited.

The faith of those possessed by the Spirit of God has no limits.

Unless this faith is contaminated by emotions.

Paul warns those who are restricted because of their own affections or emotions. 2 Corinthians 6.12

BE CAREFUL!!!
