There is no way of doing the Will of God without sacrificing your own will.

How can you serve the Lord and yourself or serve yourself and the Lord?

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6.24

This Word of the LORD does not allow room for any doubts as to the positionof those who are a true servant or want to serve God.

…for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other…

This means that: either the servant loves God and dedicates himself to Him with all his might, with all his understanding and with all his heart, and automatically and in the same inverse proportion, he despiseshimself, the world and mammon OR such servant despisesthe Lord Jesus Christ, loves and dedicates himself to himself and mammon.

Precisely because of the conflict of who to serve, sacrifice is necessary.

Those who sacrifice to God serve God and despise themselves and the devil.

In short, no servant can be neutral between serving one or the other master. Only sacrifice has the power to define who to serve, God or mammon.

Anyone can think of themselves as a servant of God and even defend their position before men, but his sacrifice (serving) is what will testify who he is before God.

A member of the Lord’s Church who is an entrepreneur, employee, or practicing his profession as a lawyer, physician, teacher, or any other occupation, provided he is a servant of God, before being considered a “member of the Christian denomination “, in fact, belongs to the Body of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and as a member of this Body, he first owes all his life and service to the Head of this Body.

For this reason, all of your life (a cell of the body) prioritizes the benefit of the entire Body (Church/Kingdom of God). Beyond family, profession, dreams and personal projects, everything, everything, everything has to focus on the service and glory of the Head of the Body.

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10.31

The “Christian” salesman, for example, aims to make money for himself and for the comfort of his family. So, he owes obligations to his employer, to his family, to himself and, finally, to his religious denomination. However, if he truly is God’s servant, he should first serve the Lord of his soul. This means that he not only returns his Tithe to God, but he himself is a Tithe of the Lord in his home, at work, and in his church.

Thus says the Lord: I remember you, the kindness of your youth, the love of your betrothal, when you went after Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown. Israel was holiness to the Lord, the firstfruits of His increase… Jeremiah 2.2-3
