The Return of the Devil

Few people worry about this…

Undoubtedly, we await the return of the Lord Jesus. We do not know when it will be, but by observing the signs we are certain that it is not far off.

But lately, we have seen the devil returning to the bodies of many people.

It is written:

“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through dry places seeking rest, but finds none. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then it goes and brings with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it be also with this evil generation.” Matthew 12.43-45

The fact that the devil left your life and you were freed from him is great, praise God!

But be wary, for he has returned to many in the form of several of his tricks, such as tarnishing people’s hearts and eyes with malice, etc. Therefore, many people have given way for the devil again.

Regardless of titles in the church or years of attendance, the devil will keep on trying to return until the last days of our lives. It is up to each one of us to not make room for him.

We await the return of the Lord Jesus but until that day comes, we keep our faith so that the devil might not return, because if he does, he will bring seven others worse than him.

Just thinking of what we have already suffered in the hands of the devil and imagining how much more we could suffer if it were seven times worse is already enough to understand that we cannot lose this fight to him.

The secret to stopping his return lies in a small word which makes hell scream: sacrifice!

The daily sacrifice of denying oneself so that the devil cannot return.
