God calms Gideon: (Judges 6.23-24)

Gideon is afraid of dying because he had seen the angel of the Lord, who disappears right before his eyes, and now he hears God Himself speak to him, saying, “Peace be with you; do not fear, you shall not die.”

Gideon then builds an altar to God, having received the peace he so desperately needed. Peace will be necessary for the next stage, but fear will quickly return.

It is the seesaw, which the one who is in church but does not have the Holy Spirit, lives on. God speaks to them, they are filled with peace and are confident and calm, until the next challenge fills them with dread and they go back to a state of anguish and anxiety due to the lack of confidence. They are constantly living under the influence of circumstantial problems.
