The strategy of evil

Imagem de capa - The strategy of evil

The Lord God asked Satan, ‘From where do you come?’

His immediate response was, ‘From going to and fro on the earth and from walking back and forth on it.’ Job 1.7

Why was the devil walking back and forth on the Earth?

Enjoying his last days?

No, a thousand times, no! He is applying all of the strength he has left into the harvest of souls.

Certainly, he is not walking back and forth on planet Earth, because this Earth is already in darkness. The earth he refers to is the Church of the Lord Jesus. This is where his focus lies.

While the servants of the Most High fish for lost souls out in the world, the devil works inside the Churches, fishing for souls that are already saved.

Be careful, pastors, and sheep!

The devil does not work outside of the Church.

Be careful, members of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ!

The devil wants to reel you in, far beyond what you can imagine.

What has his strategy been?

The first thing the devil does is send “someone” to invite you to visit “their” denomination. That “someone” is gentle, compliant and very convincing. In other words, he wants to separate you from the firepot. Once you are out of the firepot of faith (Church), automatically, your faith will begin to dwindle.

This means: from the moment you are alone (even among those you consider your brethren), your Salvation, which depends on the embers of faith, is in serious danger of dying out.

Soon, you may notice that the subject of your conversations are different and never stimulate faith. Instead, they encourage doubts.

Inner doubts are added to exterior doubts, which come from the messengers of hell. They mix malice in with the doctrines they’ve learned and have been effective in the past. They use Bible verses incorrectly to strengthen doubts; in short, they do what the devil did to Jesus in the desert.

Try, try, and try with gentle words, filled with emotion and doubt.

Pay attention and meditate on this Word of God:

And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3.15
