When we learn about Faith, we learn how to use it to conquer and transform! It is wonderful to try its power, the more results you achieve, the more joy you feel when exercising your Faith. There is no sin in this, on the contrary!

However, is Faith limited to material achievements?

Let’s look at the parable of the rich man:

Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully.And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ Luke 12.16-17

While planting, there was an act of Faith and the results came: a plentiful harvest, to the point where there was no more room for the crops.

So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull downmy barns and buildgreater, and there I will storeall my crops and my goods; Luke 12.18

This rich man noticed the need to sacrifice, so he tore down the old barn and built a new and larger one to store the crops.

Faith and sacrifice resulted in conquest!

The Conquering Faith!

Now let’s look at the words of this same man:

And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.” Luke 12.19

After the conquest of goods and new life, this man thought about his soul, but he did not make the same sacrifice he did to conquer, he chose to rest…

There was no Saving Faith!

But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” Luke 12.20-21

This is the reality we see every day, two types of faith:

–Conquering Faith

–Saving Faith

Both require sacrifice, but few people are willing to commit their strength to the Eternal.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. 1 Corinthians 15.19

If you only use the Conquering Faith, you may prosper beyond measure, but without the Saving Faith you will remain miserable!

It is necessary to use Faith for our Salvation, only then will we be prepared for The Day when our soul will be in Everlasting Joy!
