Unity of the Spirit
Day 1 of the Fast of Daniel
For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 1 John 5.7
Where there is the Holy Spirit, there is unity of the Spirit.
Everyone has one FAITH, one SPIRIT, one THOUGHT, one OBJECTIVE, one HEART; this is, EVERYONE IS PART OF ONE BODY.
This One pure and holy Body is the long-awaited Bride of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is His Holy IMMACULATE CHURCH.
THE HEAD OF THIS IMMACULATE BODY IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
This was the concept of the Early Church.
In the Early Church, all who believed were together, and had all things in common. Acts 2.44
In this unity of ideals of faith, the Holy Spirit was free to act in all His servants. Everyone lived in perfect peace and unity.
However, when there is the absence of the Spirit of God, there is a lack of peace, of faith, and above all, of harmony with those of the Family of Faith.
Those born of God have the Same Spirit. For this reason, EVERYONE, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, HAS THE SAME OBJECTIVE: TO DO THE WILL OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD.
But when someone is not born of the Holy Spirit, he is selfish, worldly, and worse of all, a divisive element.
In this priestly prayer, the Lord Jesus focuses on UNITY when He says:
Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. John 17.11
