Values of Faith
Because of their fleshly and materialistic nature, the religious have given Tithes and Offerings a material value, forcing malice to exist among Christians.
But the reality is quite different.
The spiritual values of hypocrites are subject to material values. This is, they prioritize material achievements and then turn to spiritual achievements.
The teachings of the LORD are clear and precise to those who are interested in following Him:
…seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6.33
To seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness means to prioritize spiritual values.
It’s turning away from sin immediately and living in obedience to the Word of God.
We call this conscious, intelligent, and rational faith. A faith where both your feet are firmly planted on the ground, stable and free of emotions.
In response, the Spirit of God is obligated to meet all your other needs, as promised by His Son.
All material comfort, when there is no unrighteousness, is for the benefit of the children of God. However, this cannot, under any circumstances, be put in first place.
When a Christian prioritizes material comfort, he loses spiritual comfort. However, when he prioritizes the spiritual, he gains the material.
This is simple to understand.
A conscious faith is what leads you to conquer material possessions. When there are spiritual values, God gives you the condition, strength, courage and wisdom to conquer and establish material possessions.
Of course! When the spiritual side, which is the submission to the Lord Jesus, is a fact, then the material side such as family, material comfort, health, and all other things, will also happen naturally.
This is the formula for success with God. There’s no other way… Anyone who wishes to escape this rule will incur the loss of the salvation of his or her soul.
A majority of “Christians” fail because they don’t prioritize the Kingdom of God and do not walk in His righteousness or try to prioritize the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness under their terms.
In other words: they’re not one thing or the other; among those of faith, they are cold; among unbelievers, they consider themselves hot. Unfortunately, they are lukewarm and, at the right time, they will be vomited.
For such people, Tithes are a burden and Offerings are tiresome. They do not consider such spiritual values as the Lordship of Jesus. For this reason, they carry within themselves the curse of Cain.
Tithes and Offerings are as holy and sacred as the Word of God; as pure as the Lord Jesus Christ, since they symbolize Him in the relationship between the Creator and creation.
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2.14
