Why climb Mount Hermon
The Bible gives us facts about the past, things that happened and do not happen anymore. It also has promises that have not happened yet, but will happen in the near future. However, the Word of God gives us affirmations about the present, for example: “… I am the Lord who heals you,” Exodus 15.26
The same is true about Mount Hermon: “For there the Lord commanded his blessing and life forever,” Psalm 133.3
God COMMANDED His blessing. It’s something for Today, Now, for those who truly believe in the Scriptures.
The apostle Peter describes the experience he had on this SACRED MOUNT:
“And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the HOLY MOUNTAIN,” 2 Peter 1.18
On the HOLY MOUNTAIN, Peter, James and John witnessed a TRANSFORMATION. A transformation that God COMMANDS for those who BELIEVE nowadays and are willing to listen and obey the voice of God, and what He says about how to serve Him in this HOLY MOUNTAIN:
“For on My holy mountain, on the mountain height of Israel,” says the Lord God, “there all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, shall serve Me; there I will accept them, and there I will require your offerings and the firstfruits of your sacrifices, together with all your holy things,” Ezekiel 20.40
Those who believe move forward, those who do not believe stay behind, everyone makes their own choices.
