We have bad days in life. The Bible speaks of the evil day, the day of trouble. God said, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” (Psalm 50:15). Such a wonderful promise.

If you are living a day of anguish or the worst days of your life, with the following problems:

⁃ In the family (relatives, children, husband, wife);
⁃ In your house (where you’re supposed to have peace);
⁃ In arrears, you can’t pay (and it kills you inside that you can’t keep your word);
⁃ Days of illness (a doctor comes and says one thing and another says something else and you depend medicine);
⁃ Depression, unwillingness to get out and face life and the world.

Pay attention: you have a voice inside you. Even if you are unable to speak, the voice of your conscience is there and God hears your thoughts.

You can call upon Him. You can cry out to Him. That’s what you have to do instead of whining and crying and remembering the bad things that happened to you. It doesn’t matter if what you’re experiencing is horrible, call upon God. Ask Him for strength and direction.

Then, when your deliverance takes place, glorify God. Don’t be like others, who, after receiving God’s relief, turn their backs on Him and go about their normal lives. After God delivers you from that, what you have to do is look up, raise your hands and thank Him. Also, do this publicly. Tell those who saw your bad state, what God has done in your life.
