Acute Excusitis: symptoms and cure
Excusitis is a contagious disease that manifests in the infected person with excuses for everything in life. It is usually brought on by the “tisnot myfaultis” virus, occuring in the majority of the population.
Acute excusitis is characterized by frequent justifications by the patient over something that did not or will not work. Other symptoms include: negativity, difficulty accepting new challenges, feelings of powerlessness and complainitis (which can develop into Annoying’s Disease).
The diagnosis is usually made orally. The patient may self-diagnose. Verify if he or she has the habit of repeating the following or similar phrases:
- I don’t have time
- I would do it if it weren’t for…
- I haven’t checked
- I thought everything was fine, but…
- I’m too [young, old, fat, poor, shy…]
- I don’t have anyone to help me
- I don’t have the [education, money, motivation…] for that
- The problems is…
- I’ll do it after I [check Facebook, finish watching my favorite series, organize my life, reply to my emails, post a selfie, consult my therapist…]
The treatment for excusitis usually involves helping the patient to get his/her behind out of their chair and taking three tablespoons of action, every hour during waking hours. The patient should notice improvement on the very first day of treatment, and should progressively improve from then on.
The “tisnot myfaultis” virus cannot be fully eradicated. It lies dormant in a patient’s immune system waiting for the opportunity to strike again. It is therefore advised that any contact with people in the active phase of this disease should be avoided.
