It’s not enough to be born a human; you must become humane. I believe you just have to look at the situation of the world, how many people behave worse than animals, we must understand that it’s not enough to be born human.
And what really educates the human being? Someone will say: school. Did you know that people could not access school for thousands of years? Throughout humanity, humans had to depend on their ethics and morals to develop their intellect. They learnt from nature, from life.

Someone may say that this explains human behaviour, which is why there were many wars and barbarism in ancient times. But today, there are so many worse forms of violence than at the time when schools did not exist. If you analyse the history of humanity, there are great atrocities against human beings that came from “intellectual” people. So, education does not inhibit barbarism or violence. In the 21st century, we still face wars around the world. The reason lies in the human being rejecting the true instruction, which can only come from the source of intelligence; God.

“He also taught me, and said to me: “Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commands, and live. Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding” (Proverbs 4:4-7).

You see that the intelligence from Above is more precious than money and property. It was not by chance that God Himself when He took the people out of slavery in Egypt, led them to the foot of Mount Sinai, where He would make an alliance with the people based on the Word so that when those slaves would become a nation, they would become disciplined. The education of those people came from the Word of God.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).

So, the Bible, which many have as an ornament at home, makes the human being “humane”. And more than that: a child of God. If you want to become wiser and make better decisions, read the Word of God. During the day, do not depart from the Word of God; at night, bring it to memory. It will make you a better husband, wife and human being.
