DREAMS AND PREDICTIONS THAT CAME TRUE: WAS IT GOD?

Don't exchange the right for the dubious. When God talks to you, He leaves no doubt. The choice is yours in who and what you will believe!

As expected, the subject of dreams caused controversy. Unfortunately, people are not open to this understanding that the Bible left: God spoke a lot through dreams, but today, He speaks through the Word and the Spirit.

God can do whatever He wants, He can speak through dreams or anything; He is God. But nowadays, He also has a way of operating and has worked with the Word, the Holy Spirit, and the name of His son Jesus.

Due to a lack of understanding of the difference of biblical times, many people continue to believe that what is written about specific events peculiar to that time still happens today.

“For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you, nor listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them, says the Lord.”

Jeremiah 29:8,9

Here, you see that when God spoke sporadically with certain people, there were already those who considered themselves soothsayers, prophets who interpreted dreams. Therefore, God warned the people about the danger of taking away the trust of the Word and putting it in someone else’s word, which is unreliable.

When people start looking for extra-biblical things, such as a guru, a coach, or a fortune teller who will predict the future, they are replacing God with that, putting the golden calf in their lives.

God and the devil want people’s trust and faith. When people express their faith in God, they give exposure for Him to act. When I obey Him, I give access to my life to Him.

The same happens with the devil; his strategy is to awaken confidence for the person to believe and thus give him exposure to enter.
