HOW TO BE PROTECTED FROM EVIL (PSALM 91)

The protection you seek is in one place and one God, but you must escape from the snare of evil and remain in the shelter of the Most High.

“Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” (Psalms 91:3,4)

Psalm 91 mentions several examples of dangers that may come to a person. And it illustrates with great propriety (those who lived in the time of King David understood these expressions very well).

God will deliver you from the “snare of the fowler”. Anyone who has ever lived in the countryside knows how to hunt birds. There is a type of snare in which the bird is attracted to food, and the trap is triggered, and the bird gets stuck. This speech refers to the dangers surrounding us, as people always cheer against us and sometimes even plot against us to fall.

The Bible also speaks of the “snare of the adulterous woman”. How many people have fallen into the trap of adultery? The person looks at someone from the opposite sex at work, stays there for hours, and starts to desire. Like a bird, the man falls into adultery. Women say, “He is better than my husband.” The person suspends reasoning and falls into the snare. Betrayal has been happening for millennia; everyone knows it destroys, but it keeps happening.

Children are falling into snares where they do wrong things. Some people are falling into the trap of wealth at any cost. It is important to note that every pyramid investment soon says it is not a pyramid scheme. The person does not see the bond; they only see its promise.

The person is irresponsible and tempts God, saying: “I will do what is wrong, but God will deliver me because I am in the Shelter of the Most High”. You will no longer be protected because you intentionally fall into the trap. It is implied that God will deliver you from something you don’t expect. You have to be under His wings, that is, close to Him. And no harm will strike you.

Think about it by following the message in the video above.
