I DID ALL RIGHT, BUT IT WENT ALL WRONG: WHY DID GOD ALLOW IT?

God's nature does not change according to people, He remains the same (We must be like this)

Sometimes you’re going to do everything right and it’s going to go wrong in the end. Maybe you say: “God, I don’t understand, because I did everything right, I did my best, I was a good, righteous person, hoping that I would be rewarded with the expected result in the end. But it came the other way around. The Lord did not listen to me or honour me; was He not fair to me?” This reasoning seems correct, but it is not.

The Lord Jesus said that the Father “(…) makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust” (Matthew 5:45). That is, God looks at this Earth and sees that most people are unjust, that they live against what He teaches, and yet He blesses them. It’s because it’s not about people being good or not, whether they deserve it or not. This has to do with who God is. It is not because of the good, nor because of the bad, but because He is good. God’s nature does not change according to people’s nature. So, this is how Christians and God’s children should be. He taught us to speak well to those who say bad things to us, for example. This is difficult because when a person speaks ill of someone, that person also wants to expose that person’s bad side.

If I want to be a child of God, I have to practice this. It’s not about people (whether they deserve it or not), it’s about who I am. If I want to have a child’s identity and the Father’s DNA, I have to act as the Father acts. That’s why bad things can happen, things can go wrong. It’s not all the time that everything will work out for us in this world. If you are truly a child of God, practising what He teaches, there is inner peace. But, on the outside, there are problems, in a world that lives contrary to God, in injustice, in corruption. It is a world that is being controlled by Satan himself (not because God has no power, but because He is allowing human beings to have the consequences of their choices). In part, we suffer the consequences of people who don’t want to know about the Lord Jesus. We live in a world where people drink and do crazy things. Sometimes God protects, but sometimes situations happen.

So, no matter the outcome, we have to keep believing in who God is. As long as we are part of this unjust world, we are also subject to what happens in this world. But it’s just for a little while, it will pass. Cheer up. It feels like it’s the end, but it’s not over yet. Keep believing. Reflect on this word in full through the video above.
